Earth 2 was probably my first TV obsession (not displaced until I found BTVS many years later), and the first TV show for which I wrote fanfic. I still read and write some fic, but at a glacial pace.
Loved that E2 was very much a character-based show, and the fact that this was one of the few scifi shows where the aliens actually DON'T speak English and communication is a struggle.
