An Idea
AJIn a place where space and time collide,
A new thing is born.
A light burns bright,
Then flares,
Something is taking form.
Nine people emerge in a cloud of dust,
One of whom's pant legs is torn.
A brave new world,
A race to survive.
The great idea is pitched.
'This new world' they ask,
'Is it untouched?'
'Oh, no,' comes the response.
'Tis a home to many a thing.'
'Okay they said,
We'll give it a try.'
And so Earth 2 was shown.
