They lock into yours.
I am afraid and so very cold,
I feel the ice creep through my skin.
I beg you with my eyes,
'Please, release me!'
You understand, but cannot act,
I see your pain.
The ice grows higher,
I start to fade.
Your eyes tell me,
"Hold strong, my love."
The ice wraps around me,
I hold your gaze,
Promises made, promises broken,
And now all I see,
Is Ice.
