Hi my name is Ellie. I'm posting some poems here that people seemed to have loved, at the urge of my friend Lizzy. And BTW I didn't threaten her with bodily harm...she just implied that into my words ;)

Some explanations needed here. Michi has a capture from TGLSNT that drove me bonkers til I wrote about it. It's the "Danz gives Dev heck" Scene and they're just looking at each other a certain way......
Picture Poem
Part One: His Point of View
I look into your eyes -
It's frightening
to see the distance there.
You're slipping away from me.
Yes you're drawling away from me
and you're showing me a stranger
before I could know the real you.
Before I even had the chance
So yes I tried to span the gulf,
tried to reach out.
Hoping you'd come across
wishing you'd take what I offered
-just once-
and have faith in me.
I though you frozen
Your emotions fully submurged.
A thin sheet of ice over all
with you trapped underneath
waiting for me to smash through to you.
But someone had already reached you
beneath the ice water flowed.
There was a secret Spring in your heart
I never knew.
And you look away

Part Two: Her Point Of View
Why are you looking at me like that-
Taking things on blind faith is not my strong point.
Least not where my own life is concerned you see
I have this small problem with trust- I don't have any.
I believe in the constancy of nothing at all.
Everything and everyone will eventually leave you
alone, wishing you'd never broken your heart over it.
Miracles I'm not so ready to discount just yet.
How can I after seeing the greatest one of them all
made real in his face when he smiles- my healthy child.
And now this man asks me the impossible.
Have faith in dreams Devon,believe in our destiny, love
but I can't, I won't, it's all seems so increadibly stupid.
But my thoughts are running so clearly now
My heart races then slows and beats in time with his
peace and a feeling of belonging pervade my soul at last
Even as the blood sings and roars in my ears
My breath threatens to stop, I can't get enough air in
and my body burns from the inside out with his touch.
Oh God I'm so confused, help me somehow!
When I have fallen before you have always held me up
send me a sign, show me if this feeling is right or wrong...
Excuse me did you just say something Danziger?
