Two Lone Souls
Doc Heller

In the middle of a room
Stands a young woman
She smiles and laughs and seems
perfectly at home Yet really she
is all alone

Her eyes are icy and shielded
Her armor strong and smooth
She comes off as aloof and carefree
Yet really she secretly waits
For her Prince Charming
To come and wake her from the misery
She is forced to endure

He is a smooth talk
With a smile to prove it
He is never alone
Yet feels imcomplete inside

Long ago his dreams faded
And turned to cool stone
His worn and old act carved over
The dreams on the anciet stone

Two lone souls forced to endure
The pain of wandering alone
Until they crossed on an empty road

The one pulled back afriad and unsure
Of the pain she was positive would come
The other almost entirely too sure

As they braved the times
They realized they no longer
Would have to travel alone

He broke through her armor
She saw through his act
And now they travel on a road
called 'Life' Not alone as
they once planned
But rather holding each
others' hands
