"Well, I don't know . . . " Dismissive shrug.
"Hmm. Really. Well, you can't just mention it without telling me."
"Nah, forget it. It doesn't matter."

"Are you sure?"
"*Yes*, I'm sure. Just forget it."

"Well, whatever you say."

"So, what's Bess making for dinner?"
"Not sure."

"Say, do you wanna give me a hand over here?"
