The fans flee jobs and schools
They pile into trucks and vans
Saving money in car pools
With a twist of the key and a foot on the gas
They set off for the place where they're drawn
'Cross country, state, space, and time
To New PacifiCon
A weekend of dinners and field trips galore
The guests of honor are sure to be fun
We've got the t-shirts to show our devotion
And the party has just begun!
The flyers went up a few months in advance
So that everyone could see
NP96 would be a blast
Though it isn't exactly free
But the prices are fair, so we cough up the dough
For a weekend among die-hard fans
And all will find heaven where Terrians swam
Down in New Mexico's sands.
