Growing in the sand.
The daughter of a dying Earth,
The child of the land.
Face of an angel,
Eyes of a doe,
And when she smiles,
You can't say no.
She's sweet as suger, pure as rain,
But she has her darker side;
The part that no one want to see,
The part she tries to hide.
And still she blooms up through the sand,
Stretching for the sky,
A stranger in a stranger land
Where no one hears her cry.
