And the dreams we left behind

You were right there for me~

She was leaving him. He knew it, she knew it. It was hard, but he had to let her 
go.
"I will always be with you," she whispered, gazing fondly at the boy. "Never 
forget me."
"I would never forgive myself if I did." He wore an expression of angst. It was 
so hard, 
so very hard. The one person, the one whom he treasured more than life, was 
leaving. He 
would swim across the ocean and race a shooting star if he thought it would make 
her
stay, but he knew it wouldn't. His memories would be the only thing left. But 
they
were all happy memories, so very happy. She taught him things he never knew 
existed, 
not only about himself but life in general. He could never forget.

~In my dreams I'll always see you soar above the sky
In my heart there will always be a place for you
For all my life I'll keep a part of you with me
And everywhere I am, there you'll be~

Harry leaned over Ginny, watching as she gasped for breath. Another spasm of 
pain passsed through
her body, making her twitch. Why did it have to happen? 'Because he hurts 
everyone I ever loved' 
Harry thought. He looked into Ginny's eyes, the life slipping away.

~Well you showed me how to feel
Feel the sky was in my reach
And I always will remember all the strength you gave to me
Your love made me make it through
Oh, I owe so much to you
You were right there for me~

"Thank you," he whispered in her ear. She looked at him, confusion mixing with 
her pain.
"For what? I never did anything," she could barely manage to make those words 
come out.
"For letting me be a part of you." Tears glistened in Harry's eyes. He had to 
say good-bye. She
would be gone soon, and then it would be too late.
"Ginny, I love you." He looked deep into her eyes; he was drowning in them. The 
brown depths that
went on and on. The tears fell, sliding down his cheek and onto hers.
"I love you too." She whispered, and shuddered as another wave of pain passed 
through her. "Good-bye
Harry."
"Good-bye Ginny." He softly kissed her lips, and watched as the expression of 
pain slowly was 
replaced with one of serene calm. "Thank You," he whispered, slowly laying down 
her body.

And I want to thank you now
