A/N- Welcome, Here's my newest story. I have just about given up on any of my other Harry potter stories. Sorry. Maybe this one wont suck royal lollipops. ;) Summery- Ginny wants to give up. There's no point any more, But we all know how hard that can be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~*~Prologue~*~ She ran down the cold dark hall, tears streaming down her face. 'There's no point in any of this anymore. I can't stand him any more. Why did I hurt myself to start with. I knew that it wouldn't work. Why am I letting her get to me either? That little slut!' Suddenly she stopped. She was there. she wiped the tears from her face and looked around. 'No one. Good' Opening the strange door in front of her, she thought of all that had happened this year. Looking in she gasped. "What? Why are you here?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~*~Three years earlier.~*~ "Hey Sharon! Girl, come back here!" Ginny yelled down the crowed halls of Hogwarts. It was her 4th years at Hogwarts. The hall was full of students going to class, talking loudly about this or that. "Sharon Rose McDay! Come right back here with my stuff!" The girls laughed and chased each other down the hallway up to Professor McGonagall's classroom. "Whew, that took a lot out of me. HEHEHEHE. So Ginny what's on your mind this year? Who's the guy of the year?" Sharon laughed at Ginny's unsure face. She was still deciding. "Well, as for guys? I'm not sure. I gave up on a lot of them last year. They just aren't for me. But then again this is a new year." Ginny was smiling broadly as they sat down in transfigurations. "Well, there always is the older and the new guys too. Keep the older years in mind the most." Sharon winked at Ginny and class began. ~*~ He walked down the same long hallway as Ginny just had. Reaching for the door of Transfigurations, he still wasn't sure what he was doing. Why did Professor Dumbledore need him and Ginny to do their detentions now? I mean, come on that was last year when they got in trouble for fighting. "Professor McGonagall, I need Ginny for detention." He barely looked up when he said this. He hated having detention. "Ok, Mr.-" The rest of what she said was overpowered by Ginny angrily dropping her book. Oops? "Ms. Weasley please get a hold your yourself. There's no need for that." "Yes, whatever." "As I was saying. Go ahead and take her." Ginny followed him out of the room. They started to laugh loudly once the door was closed. Ginny had a pretty good fit in class. "So what is it we're supposed do?" Ginny said in between laughs. "Ummm, clean the dungeons, I think." "How fun. Really sound fun," Ginny said sarcastically. "Yeah, I know. Let's just hurry up and get this done." The two walked down to the dungeons to start. ~*~ The dungeons were a cold haunted place and Ginny hated it more any other place in Hogwarts. Spiders, dust, mud, and blood covered everything. Their task was to clean these dungeons the best they could. No one ever used the dungeons, but Professor Snape insisted they needed to be cleaned at least once in a while. To Ginny it seemed like it had been an eternity since the last cleaning. "What do we do?" Ginny asked quietly. The dungeons echoed everything terrible and Ginny already had a head ache. "Umm, I think we start with sweeping then clean the walls and ceiling. Then it would be a good idea to add clean dirt and hay to the floors." He seemed so easy about all of this. The damp cold place didn't weaken him at all. Ginny shivered at this. That was never a good thing. "Ok, well lets start then." Ginny grabbed some supplies and began the hard work. She glanced at her partner in crime. The year before they had both gotten caught for starting an end of the year food fight but didn't have a chance to serve detention because of summer holidays. He brushed hair out of his eyes and worked silently. There were few scars on his body that were visible but those were very obvious. He had been in quite a few mishaps. His tender hands moved the brooms through out the dungeon. She admired his skill then fell back to earth when a sudden clash rang through out the dungeons. She had lost track of her work and water rushed through out the dungeons floor. "Uh, sorry. Slipped." She said looking over her mess. "Yeah, well don't do it again all right? I've had enough troubles." He smiled slightly but then went back to work. She started again but was again lost in thought. Hermione and her were close friends but things were beginning to slip up when Ron and her got together. Harry was still there but much more to himself. Sharon was her usual self. Draco had stopped his bickering with Harry and they were semi-nice to each other. Things were a little weird and Ginny didn't know why. 'Well, I guess it could be worse. I could be in love with my best friends enemy.' ~*~Present day ~*~ "What are you doing here? How did you know I would be here?" "I'm here to help Ginny. I wont let you do this. What is it that you want?" His cold hard eyes stared her down. "I want you and everyone else to leave me alone. I gave up on your love, too long ago to let me hurt myself again." "Well isn't that what you were about to do? Huh? Hurt yourself again. Try to get away? You can't escape love. Ginny, it's too strong" "Yeah, well what if I don't want your love any more? All you ever did was hurt me. You hurt me that day in the dungeons when we first kissed. You hurt me time after time. No! I gave you up. I can't go back." ~*~Back in the dungeons~*~ "Ginny, looks like we're done." "Yeah, I guess we are. Umm, where are we though? Don't tell me we got lost here?!" Ginny's fear returned to her. She was scared to death of cold small damp places. Dark didn't help either. "No, umm we came in from there. Didn't we?" "No it was that way." She point down the opposite tunnel and became worried. "Umm, are you sure?" "No." "Well then lets try your way. There's bound to be other exits." "Come on, we're in a dungeon. That's point. To not have other exits." "Ut oh." "Yeah, I know." Ginny, snapped at him but became quiet quickly. It was getting colder and darker. The few windows showed it was near night and they would have to get out there soon. They didn't have anything to survive with. Their wands were taken and wouldn't of worked any ways. The dungeon was made to block spells so there was no escape. They had used non-magic supplies to clean with. "Come here. Give me your hand." "Why?" "So we wont lose each other." "Umm, ok." They locked hands and began to wander down a long hall way. It was clean but still smelled of musk and dirt. The dust filled her lungs and she coughed after every other step. "Are you all right?" He asked her, concern filling his voice. "Yes, I fine. But I'm tired. We've been working to hard." "I know. Would you like to take a rest? We could stop here and continue in a little bit." They stopped and sat in a corner. She hugged herself to keep warm in the cold damp dungeons but it was useless. Heat was escaping to quickly. "Ginny, do you want to, um, ya know, um huddle together to keep warm." He stumbled over his words. "Yeah, I guess. I'm so cold." She shivered as he got closer. His touch was warm and cold at the same time. Just like his eyes. "Ginny come here." They hugged each other and she quickly feel asleep in his arms. He smiled as she slept peacefully. She breathed lightly and squirmed little. Her beautiful red hair covered his chest, her arms draped across his waist. The light touch made him shiver as well. Something about her. She seemed to glow with warmth and love. Suddenly she awoke. "Did i fall asleep? I'm sorry." "No, it's all right. Go back to sleep. I don't think we will find anything to day and it's too dark to see any ways." "hmmm." She was looking up into his crisp cold eyes. At the same time they filled with warmth and their faces grew closer. The light kiss filled both with warm shocks. They pulled apart after a few seconds and looked into each other's eye's again. "Do you see me in that way? Do you feel anything for me?" Ginny asked him suddenly. "Baby, I'm just so confused. I thought I didn't at first but now, now I just don't know. All I do know is that you make me feel so good." With this said the two hugged each other and fell back asleep. ~*~Present day~*~ "Ginny, those were weird days. I was confused about you and girls in general. I never meant to hurt you. I never wanted to. I loved you too much to." "I'm sure you did, but then you stopped and now you don't." "Ginny, baby, what am I to say? Should I say that your right? That I don't love you? You mean nothing to me? Well, your WRONG. I still love you Ginny. Even if we did hit hard spots. I know that the day we broke up last month was the stupidest thing I've ever done. The reason is even worse." "Yes, well, we did break up. Stupid or not you made that choice." ~*~one month before~*~ "Ginny, hunny. I- we have to talk." "Yes, we do. I can't believe this. And with her none the less! I fell in love with my best friends enemy and in return she falls in love with you too?! No, you have some explaining to do!" Ginny's eye's filled with tears as she looked her lover in his deep eyes. They sat in "their" spot. Ginny, now, felt uncomfortable sitting there and rather sick. "Ginny, please. Don't do this to me. Let me explain everything before you yell at me too much." He pleaded with her and she just looked away. "Ginny, Hermione and I didn't mean for this to happen. We didn't mean to get together that night. She was crying over Ron dying in such a horrible way that I didn't know what to do. I was trying to comfort her when she suddenly started to go farther. One thing led to another and well, you know. We didn't think about the consequences or the people we would be hurting. I never meant for it to happen." "Yes, but it did and now its over between me and you. You have to go back to Hermione and your child." "Ginny, please..." "Didn't you ever think that I was hurting too? He was my brother. Just because they had a child together means that she was hurting more? That little slut has her and Ron's child now but also your and her's. She needs you way more than I will ever want you so go! Go back to her! You need to be there now that the baby is born and it is obvious that it's yours. She needs you. I don't want you any ways. Ron died horribly. It was bad enough that your father was the one that did it. Now I have to deal with more hate and it's just so much easier to hate the whole family and not just one member." With that said Ginny walked away from the cursed place and went back to her room. She pushed Hermione out of her way when she tried to say something and just ignored the concerned looks. ~*~Present day~*~ "Ginny, Hermione and I were stupid. I should of never had sex with her. The fact that my father killed your bother isn't my fault though. There was nothing I could do. I can't live with out you, though. Hermione has found another man. He wants her as much as she wants him. They love each other. I never loved her. Forcing myself to act as if I did was not the right thing for my child. He needs a real dad. I want a real woman. I want you! I have lost one of the best things that there is in this world. LOVE." "Yes, you have, and the sad part is you'll never get it back." Ginny had came to their place this last time to do one thing. She was not going to give that up. There was no way she would let him come back to her heart. Better to die then let him kill her from the inside out. She took out the potion and swallowed it in one gulp. The world swirled and the sad stories filled her head. Then the good thought about her and him all those times came to her. The love was there but she tossed it aside again. Was it for the better? Thoughts lost meaning and pain lost feeling. It was black again. ~*~ A/N- well? Review!!!! Can you guess who's da daddy? Lol. Should I write more? I do have other thoughts to how this could end. Well??????????? Now! Review!I don't really think Ginny is suicidal or anything but ya never know.
