While I was driving home from school Friday, an idea to parody Alanis
Morrisette's song "Ironic" popped into my head.  So here it is, with
apologies to Alanis....

A tv show entered season three
Got a new Captain and died right away.
It's an oil stain in the tv guide
It's a renewal a season too late.
And isn't it moronic, don't ya think?

It's like writing while sniffing glue
It's the giant monster of the week
It's the show that had lots of promise
And who would've thought they's trash it?

Captain Bridger was a good 'ol guy
Commanded the seaQuest through seasons one and two
He worked his whole damn life with science
And as plants devoured the crew
He thought well isn't this a sight.
And isn't it moronic, don't ya think?

Well stupidity has a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think the quest's ok and everything's going right
The writer's think all we want are monsters and 
Everything blows up in our face

The seaQuest in a cornfield
No doctor when you're in med-bay.
It's like 10,000 dragon worms 
When all you need is reality.
It's battling evil corporate moguls
Instead of laughing with Krieg.
And isn't it moronic, don't ya think?
A little too moronic, and yeah I really do think
